Genesis | Joseph: A Redemptive Perspective and Purpose | 9
• Series: Genesis
St. Peter’s Lutheran | Genesis | July 28, 2024 | Pastor Adam Rodriguez | As we wrap up our series in the book of Genesis, Joseph's final narrative reveals the large theme of the entire narrative. What was meant for evil, God turned into good. From the Fall, all the way to Abraham's dysfunctional family, God takes what was meant for evil and turns it into good time and again. Here, at the end of Genesis, God uses the betrayal of Joseph for the preservation of God’s people and leads them into Egypt, saving them from certain death due to famine. What can we learn from Joseph’s experiences? A redemptive perspective and purpose for our lives.
