Concert Series - Philharmonic Youth Orchestra & Indy Winds Flute Choir

The Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Ensemble is a small group of students from the Philharmonic Youth Orchestra program. This native program offers advanced students an experience in performance and an introduction to professional work habits. Fourth through twelfth grade students from Bartholomew and the surrounding counties participate in this group. Vanessa Edwards serves as the Director of the PYO.

The Indy Winds Flute Choir is based in Indianapolis and comprised of local flutists of all ages.  They seek to provide a fun and enjoyable environment to make music together and spread their love of the flute to the community. With approximately 30 members, they play piccolo, C Flute, Alto Flute, Bass Flute and Contrabass Flute and explore all kinds of musical genres.

This concert is free and takes place in the St. Peter’s Sanctuary.
